Tuesday, Nov. 3rd Pray that God’s people will honor the Lord in all things
1 Chronicles 16:27 Good morning Father, it is Election day in the United States. We pray for peace as many brace for rioting and destruction. We raise up the banner of peace and love over this nation. We pray for the heart of the people to respect the rights of one another and that we truly love our brother as ourselves. Am I my brother's keeper, are the words uttered when selfishness replaces the choice we make. Let us know the answer, as it was on that day, that we are not our brother's murderer. Let violence not enter into the mind or the hearts of a land that demonstrates true democracy. We pray that we learn to live with the choice of God to lead our nation and that there are decisions, greater than we see, that lie at stake today. Let both leaders not stir unrest but allow stability to reign in our neighborhoods. Let no name be lifted up today that will cause division or dictate hatred. Let us be guided by the Spirit and not by the flesh. Let our hearts be turned toward the words that Jesus said, "Peace I give into you not as the world gives but peace that surpass all understanding." As a praying group let us stand in one accord lifting a banner of love over our nation and not be moved by the heart of the enemy. We will not fail, as the walls have been built and we stand today on a firm foundation. Help us to see and not react. Help us to hear and not forget. Help us to taste the reality of freedom and not slumber in the recesses of tyranny. Let us smell the goodness of a nation, not divided, rather than the stench of separation and fighting. Let us touch the heart of one another with kindness rather than think about the selfishness of having our own way. In the words of Jesus we pray today, "Nevertheless Father let your will be done..." in this election cycle and many more to come as we stand in the land of the brave and free. Let peace reign today King Jesus as we mark our ballots to not an earthly man but to a sovereign God. Thank You as we have been before you these 52 days; let not our prayers go unanswered as you stated that if we ask Anything in your name..in the name of Jesus we ask these things.. amen As an added note today for Election day today, pray for peace no matter the outcome. Our King has already been elected and the votes were counted some 2000 years ago and the verdict has been decided and there is no uncertainty who will lead our nation. There are no swing states and there will be no tie.

Monday, Nov. 2nd Pray for Peace during Elections Psalm 119:165
Good morning Father, we pray today for Washington D.C. The U.S. Constitution provided for a federal district, under the exclusive jurisdiction of the U.S. Congress, and the district is therefore not a part of any U.S. state. So we pray today for a city that houses the federal branches of government that help rule our country We began, with sincerity, to pray for wisdom for our nation's capital. The thought was to keep this city independent that as it ruled it would not favor any state but always be neutral to all states. Father, from this city, our nation is ruled and decisions are made that not only impact a nation but impact the world. We pray for guidance in decision making and guidance to learn to govern such a great people. We pray the prayer of Solomon, that wisdom could be granted, not riches, not gold and silver, but wisdom to guide this nation back on track. As we stand on the eve of one of the most expensive and highly contested elections to decide the path forward, let us be reminded as a people that there is only one in charge. One who paid the price, to rightfully lead, guide and direct all nations. We were created to have an ability to reach the lost in places unseen and unheard. To this day, You have kept your covenant agreement but now is the time for us to stand up and keep our part of the covenant. Father, we repent for not following the wisdom given to us and rather than celebrating and enjoying the peace of a free nation, we stand here today bracing ourselves for uprisings and anarchy in the streets of America. Father, we pray Your hands of intervention this day, not driven by the minds of those who lack direction, but those who will rise up at such a time as this to lead us into peace. We welcome the Mordecai of our times, to lead the Esther's of this generation, to avoid the purging of needless deaths and destruction of property and land that You gave to us. I pray this day, not only for a nation, but a people who compose the ability to work together as a free people. That we can have a capitalist society with a democratic form of government. That we live together in peace and harmony. That we walk in unity and love one for another. To live up to the following words. "We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, ensure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America." Father, remind us that a covenant is only as good as those who have established and upheld the things we believe. Let there be a perfect union and until that time let us remember that we, "know in part we prophesied in part and that one day we will give way to that which is complete," 1Co 13:10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. Today we pray as a nation to get us back on course, let us return to the place where You have shown the world Your directions for this nation. Let it begin in Washington DC because to change a people, you must change its rulers to honor covenant, to speak truth and to take care of the orphans and widows. Let America get back on the course and let her direction be true. Let the nations that watch, have an expectation, as we have with Your return, that a new America once known as The New World can, once again, lead in the spread of the Gospel to all nations. Father, thank You for those who reminded me that we were not through praying for all of America, that no part would be left uncovered that now truly we have prayed for all our lands including the Territories that are not yet states but fall under this governmental umbrella. We seal the prayers for our nation, humbly reminded of the cost for freedom lies not in the mind but in the heart and there has to be a willingness to die for that which is established by a living God. Good morning Lord, thank You for the rest. Today, we move to the final of the fifty US states. Today we pray for Wyoming. This is the state that has the least population and about half of its land is set aside for monuments and state parks, the land of the American bison. So we begin this day crying out for this state's legislature and city governments. We pray for the heart of the American people that visit or tour through this land for recreation and to experience the beauty of the open land You created. We pray for the federal leaders and the need for all to walk in one accord. Now, today, Father, we approach the end of our prayers, not as a final goal achieved, but the beginning of a cry for a period in our lives where we can cry out to You. Just as the great land of Nineveh, when the people repented, You had compassion. Father, from the king, to the animals they were wicked and You gave them forty days to repent. We have cried out in repentance for these fifty days that You might have mercy upon us. So as we head into a new week and into an election week in the US; it is important for us to remember what and why we are praying. Father, we have been praying that You would save our land. We have been praying that You would heal our land. We have been praying for peace in our land. We have been praying for unity in our land and we have been praying for salvation and a return to the one true God in the land. Father there has been many walls built up that separate us. Just as it was in Babylon, we have raised up in our hearts and have decided to build our own walls to the heavens. Confusion has come and caused us to not be able to come together because we have raised our accomplishments and made ourselves god. We repent, Father, for assuming the we are equal to You and for taking attention from You, for who are we to compare ourselves, the created, to You who is the Creator. We repent for wrong thoughts and as we have created our own idols, we pray that those idols within would bow. We repent for not recognizing the condition of our hearts. Our hearts are desperately wicked and we have not known that and we have traded the love that You established for the evil of the counterfeit, who roams this land, seeking whom he can devour. So we pray for our country, our America, our people, cities and towns. We pray for every kindred and nations within it's boarders. We pray that today, as we end these prayers, that You hear the heart of a people that desire to be reconciled to the heart of the Father. We thank you in advance for an election free of controversy and dishonesty. We thank you for a peaceful place to raise our children and our children's children. We thank you for the word on our currency that should remind us of who You are. We cry not as a symbol on our currency but a heartfelt thanks as we say GOD BLESS AMERICA..in the mighty name of Jesus our true King.. amen. Good morning Father! It is great to be alive and to worship and commune with the one true God. We pray for Wisconsin today. This is the heart of America and the dairyland where most of the famous and best cheese is produced. So today, we pray for the backbone of American culture. Father, let the leaders in this area teach us to be humble and diligent. As the people work, let there be a desire to follow after Your word. We present an altar to You in Wisconsin, that flows from the banks of the Great Lakes to the neighboring states and that this altar would stabilize the heart of the city, the county and the state workers. We pray, Father, that we don't give way to bigotry and violence to solve our differences. You said that if we live by the sword, we will die by the sword. Teach us, starting in Wisconsin, how to bring love back to our nation. We pray today for the school boards of each of our states. Give them wisdom to not only have a political influence but as they are given the treasures and future of our nation that they would govern that the best education will be developed for this generation. In a time of isolation, for many, let there come forth a creative mind that will lead us forward. That our children will receive both a quality and a Christ based education. Let them help us, not only bring prayer back into the schools, but bring a prayer life of influence back into our homes. Let the country appeal and realize the path we were on was the wrong path and we have both been misguided and misinformed of our hope and future. Let us return to the place of our origin. Father, for all times let us grab hold to the true inheritance and let families, once again, be the center of our culture. Take away the desire to rebel against the family from the hearts of men and women. Father, You have captured our attention and we cry out this morning to heal our land. Over and over we cry to You that we need Your direction and guidance to fulfill our purpose for a time such as this. Over and over again we will bless Your name. Let the torment that began to cause strife and division give way to the peace that leads to joy and unity. Father You said Your peace You give to us not as the world gives, so we pray for the peace of God to flood our nation that in the midst of whatever pandemic, whatever disaster, whatever trial, we can unify and in peace, join hands and hearts to overcome our various trials. Good morning! Father, we thank You again for looking over us as we slept. Today, our prayer is for the state of West Virginia. The Appalachian Mountains and the Shenandoah Valley are part of this historical state. This state is the only state formed from splitting another state during America's dark past of civil war. Father, we pray for this state and its leaders. It has a history of going against popular opinion and fighting for justice for the under dogs. We pray this morning for its leaders that would stand up in America's dark moment and bring a light to a unique situation. All leaders, local, state and federal would join in one accord and reclaim the inheritance that helped establish both this state and the country. We pray for the spiritual leaders and those who lead the church to come to a place of repentance and acknowledgement of their sin. We pray, Father, for the home of an American dream that was formed in the heart of the founding fathers, not in the things we posses but in the love we have for one another. We pray this morning that we would rise up and leave the iniquities of our past and embrace the hope of our future. Create in us a clean heart, this day and renew a steadfast spirit within each of the hearts of Your children. Let the faith of our forefathers, that is an inheritance to all, set us in a position to become a leader in the free world, for that which is right. Father, we pray that what has brought us down a path of separation within the church will guide us to a unity not seen in our past. Where those who are in need are embraced by those who have. The weak are lifted up by the strong, the hurting are shown compassion by those who are well. Father, this nation was birthed to be a shining light in a darkness. Allow the light of a hopeful future draw us from a morbid past into the light of Your Glory. Let this day be a starting point for revival in the hearts of the Appalachian Highlands. Let the flow of the rivers of peace surround us this day. Remove from this nation a spirit of fear and dread, replacing them with hope and peace. Father, for a long time we have known the path we were taking was drawing us away from You. Let the yoke that guides us be the center point that stabilize us to hear the call of freedom. Let the desire for this freedom come, not at the cost of more bondage as a result of sin, but from the cleansing power of the blood that sets all men free. Teach us this day that there is no other way back into Your arms but through the blood of Your Son. We cannot do this on our own so guide us down the right path. Good morning Father, it's truly the beginning of a new season here. Today we pray for and celebrate Washington state. From the top of Mount Rainier to the Shores of Spokane, we come in one accord today to pray for this state. Like Mount St Helen, let there be an eruption that spills over into the rest of the nation. Father let there be found in this state an active altar that, when it erupts, prayers would go up, spilling into the heavens the heart of Your people. Let the eruptions cause the flow of life changing lava that consumes everything in it path. Let it begin to tear down the walks that have been built in our lives and bring in new life. Like the change of seasons, let those prayers for our nation begin to bring new life with an anticipation of each changing season. Father, we pray that the leaders would be awakened to the rumblings of change, both in the hearts of the people and the nation as a whole. Let the cry bring forth a need for Jesus to be the center of our lives. As we pray this morning for the justices, the senators, the congressmen and women, the governor's and the elected city officials, let there be a sense of change that rocks everything we know and tear down the false altars of our hearts. Let the mountains sing a melody of submission that would show Your people the rumbling heard in the mountains is, once again, a God calling for the attention of His people. Father, let America be like Moses and began to heed the call and begin to seek You out. Today, we celebrate the diversity in this state and as the crops of apples that grow, show the sweetness of the land and let us also began to appreciate the sweetness You bring into our lives. Let the tragedy of our past not remove the hope of the beauty of our future. You said Father, that You would give us beauty for ashes. So in this state, that has experienced the natural ashes of a live active volcano, let it be in the lives of Your children, that the ashes that we have experienced in our past would give way to a better future. The clouds of hatred and despair in this country would give way to joy and love. Father, though we have faith to move the mountains in our life and have not loved what does it profit us, we pray this morning for a country that is so shaken by its past, to let the winds of change bring peace to America. Let the winds of the Holy Spirit blow across every mountain and every valley in our nation. Let the peaks of our lives praise You, let the valleys worship You, let the rivers of tears we shed honor You. Let the heart of change that once occupied every fiber of our being, once again, show forth the change You have purposed in the lives of those who are called to be Your children. Father, as we close today even for a state that has the same name as our capital, let us discern and differentiate when we are in two different places. Let there be an awareness when You bring us to a new place and that we don't apply old methods to a new beginning. Thank you Lord for tearing down the walls in our lives because You deserve the honor and the glory. So today we lift up holy hands and magnify Your name. Good morning Father, today we pray for Historic Virginia. This state is the state that held the settlement of Jamestown in 1607 and is the home of the original capital of the thirteen colonies. We pray for a land that was essential to the founding fathers. Father, a state known for fights with Indians and slave trade, this state led in all aspects of setting the path for future discord. We stand today on an altar, that doorway, invited in, not only the positive side of America but also a dark gateway of its past. The internal struggles of this nation causes us to repent for the wrongs that were committed in the past and to rejoice over the progress; to form a nation of people who would stand together in a time of crisis. Father, we look to you to save this state and its leaders from divisive politics and take a role in motivating others to stand for justice, peace and the American way. We pray for the church leaders that have set a pattern for prayer to begin to pray for our nation. We concentrate our efforts no longer on the wrong but to begin to focus on the right. The right to worship You without the fear of government interference. The right to live in peace and harmony with all kindred and tribes. The right to declare our freedoms, only limited by the word of God, that dictates that we honor our father and mother and to love our neighbors as ourselves. The right to not impose the views of the masses on the heart of few. The right to assemble together in our places of worship without fear of retaliation. The right to stand for a nation that needs guidance and deliverance in a crucial time of desperation. The right to say we have sinned and lost our way. Father, we are reminded of the story of the prodigal son and in all our wanderings we lost our way but we know in the Father's house, there is provision. We recognize we have sinned and the necessity as a nation to come home to a Father that is waiting on our return. To come to a place where a Father recognizes our true worth, no matter how far we have fallen. Father, today we know our country can be restored to the heart of the Father. We know forgiveness and redemption is here if we only ask. We know and recognize that we can begin down the right path but first we must recognize what depths we have fallen to. We pray we see the light of Your Glory and come to understand the purpose You have created us for. Father, we were created for worship. You are here Father standing in our midst because you are a way maker, miracle worker, promise keeper and a light in all the darkness. We can recognize that is who You are. We must take from that because we were created in your image, that we too are lights in the darkness that surround America today. So we say let our light shine from the hill tops of the Appalachian Mountains, to the shores of Virginia Beach. Let our light shine in opposition of the winds of fear, suicide and terror that knock on the hearts of those that don't know You. Let us make a way to come back to lead others from depression, suicide and oppression that even mocks the heart of Your children in the church. Let us throw off the bonds of tyranny and let the lamp of warning shine brightly in the night. One if by land two if by sea, let a signal be given that the light of this nation still shines brightly to lead a revolution against enemies seen and unseen. Good morning Father, today we pray for Vermont (Verd Mont)-french for green mountain. This land of trees and maple syrup speaks of the richness given to this land. Father, we pray today that the natural sweetness of the syrup of this land can flow and be gathered for to cleanse the heart of your nation. As with our early beginnings, consisting of Spanish, English and French explorers, African slaves, and American Indians, we ask You, once again, to bring the American people back to a place of unifying, under one nation, diversified, as our original forefathers but whole, as the God we serve. We pray for the leaders both church, state and federal to assimilate all the differences we have and come to a joint understanding, in wisdom, to move this nation from the brink of fracture to a place of wellness. We pray today in our country for the forgotten and the lost. We pray for the doctors and nurses in this land who are on the front lines, ministering to Your people. Today we pray for men and women who have sworn to care for the sick, that they be protected and covered. This morning we thank You Father as You have put us on a course to recapture the things we had lost. Standing this day on the green mountains of Vermont, declaring the goodness of God and the mercy You have shown toward us. Father, help us this day to recognize the abundant grace that has been shown to America and that we learn to extend that grace to others. America the beautiful land of my birth, stand beside her and guide her. We ask for Your blessings and we pray, as Abraham prayed, Father if there is but fifty righteous, will you destroy the righteous with the wicked. Hold back, our Father, the angel of death and say, as you said when David numbered the people, it is enough. It is enough of the disaster we bring on ourselves, it is enough of the hatred we show toward one another, it is enough of the time we spend arguing about what is unimportant. It is enough of the splitting of families, killing of babies, forgetting our elderly and leaving our God. Father, it is enough! Help us come back to stand together to say, once again and declare that we Love our God. In this last week, going into elections, Father, it is enough of divisive speeches and split opinions. Now let us stand in the brink of our Jerusalem and rebuild the walls that have been torn. Rebuild the altars that have been left unattended. Rebuild the church that is as fractured as much as the nation. Rebuild the hope we will overcome. Good morning Lord, we look to this day again with anticipation of the great things that will occur this day. The state of Utah is the subject of our prayers today as a state in the United States. Utah known for its mormon population and the skiing resorts, hiking trails and national parks. We stand today to tear down false idols. Let an altar be lifted in Utah that will cover the state with a desire for God. Let the churches in Utah begin to unify, with one heart, to preach the gospel of Jesus without distractions. Let the past suffering inflicted on the native Indians be acknowledged. Father, we pray the state leaders would hear the truth and stand on the moral values found in Your word. Father, this is a state that has the lowest crime rate and a state that fights for family values. Let the church leaders have a true encounter and those who stand, rise up to understand God has given them this land and country. Let the people of this land cry out for the presence like never before. As it was said of Nazareth, what good can come from there? Let a leader with Christian values rise up in Utah. Let an alarm be sounded that will spark the hearts of the inhabitants of the land to desire no substitute for the one true God. You are the God of the impossible, so allow that impossible journey to begin with Utah. Father, we pray for the city and national leaders and the families in this state. Let the blood stained banner be held up to show a world redemption is possible and that God can change the hearts of men and women throughout the world. Father, as we pray for the nation today, let our hearts again be reminded that You can do the impossible. We pray from the mountains of this great state to the trails for hiking that You would motivate the people to come back to You. Father, as a country restore to us a sincere heart to the land that once was free and let us reach the path You designed for your people. Father, we pray with passion over this nation and ask that You show us what we must do. Let us move forward with the hope that You have placed in our heart. Good morning Father, today we pray for the great state of Texas. Known for its livestock and oil, this state is one that sets the trend for a return to the Father. Father, today we pray for Texas leaders and the ability to discern what is right and wrong. We pray the state leaders would take an active part and be removed from all fear of living ungodly lifestyles. We pray the local and county government would walk in unity to protect and serve the people of this state. From the gulf coast to the panhandle, let the land return to a place of worship to a living God. Let all your church leaders put aside their differences and focus on what is important and that is Jesus Christ, crucified, resurrected and interceding on behalf of your people. Father, we pray the altars of this state would burn brightly to signal, once again, You are Lord. Let's not forget where You brought us from and the need today to repent for the lack of commitment necessary to bring others to You. Forgive us of our selfishness and arrogance as a wealthy nation and state to think we can do things our way. Father, let the dry bones of Texas come to life once again. Father, only You know if You can bring these dry bones back to life. Let the breath of the Holy Spirit breathe life into a lifeless situation. Let that breath cause us to stand and take formation. Let that breath signal to a nation, torn apart by unresolved issues and a pandemic unknown to man that there is a God He is alive and in Him we live and we survive. Father, remind them from dust you created man and you are our God the Great I AM. We shout from the Rio Grande Valley to the Guadalupe peaks of Texas, a resounding acknowledgement of the Love of God and His saving Grace. Another moment in time where as a nation we can bow down to the Majesty of the one we long to see. Father, turn the tide as we enter into a transition period like none other before or none that will come after. As Elijah stated, let us no longer linger between two opinions. Let there be a choice in this nation that if our God is God then we shall worship Him. Father, help the coming generation find it's place in You, do what it takes to bring forth a band of believers that don't fear to acknowledge You. Father, let this generation have a hope and a future as you have promised. Let this generation turn to You with a whole heart. Bring us once again to the Altar of Praise and ignite our hearts to worship a true and living God. In the name of Jesus....amen |
