Saturday, Oct. 31st Pray for the Church Matthew 16:18, 2 Chronicles 7:14
Good morning Father! It is great to be alive and to worship and commune with the one true God. We pray for Wisconsin today. This is the heart of America and the dairyland where most of the famous and best cheese is produced. So today, we pray for the backbone of American culture. Father, let the leaders in this area teach us to be humble and diligent. As the people work, let there be a desire to follow after Your word. We present an altar to You in Wisconsin, that flows from the banks of the Great Lakes to the neighboring states and that this altar would stabilize the heart of the city, the county and the state workers. We pray, Father, that we don't give way to bigotry and violence to solve our differences. You said that if we live by the sword, we will die by the sword. Teach us, starting in Wisconsin, how to bring love back to our nation. We pray today for the school boards of each of our states. Give them wisdom to not only have a political influence but as they are given the treasures and future of our nation that they would govern that the best education will be developed for this generation. In a time of isolation, for many, let there come forth a creative mind that will lead us forward. That our children will receive both a quality and a Christ based education. Let them help us, not only bring prayer back into the schools, but bring a prayer life of influence back into our homes. Let the country appeal and realize the path we were on was the wrong path and we have both been misguided and misinformed of our hope and future. Let us return to the place of our origin. Father, for all times let us grab hold to the true inheritance and let families, once again, be the center of our culture. Take away the desire to rebel against the family from the hearts of men and women. Father, You have captured our attention and we cry out this morning to heal our land. Over and over we cry to You that we need Your direction and guidance to fulfill our purpose for a time such as this. Over and over again we will bless Your name. Let the torment that began to cause strife and division give way to the peace that leads to joy and unity. Father You said Your peace You give to us not as the world gives, so we pray for the peace of God to flood our nation that in the midst of whatever pandemic, whatever disaster, whatever trial, we can unify and in peace, join hands and hearts to overcome our various trials. Father let us now rise and Let the weak say, "I am strong" Let the poor say, "I am rich" Let the blind say, "I can see" it's what the Lord has done in me…in Jesus name...amen
