April 12, 2020 Resurrection Day

I love this day when we can celebrate the glorious power of our God, who broke the curse of sin, and the consequence of death!  With one foolish and selfish deed, sin and death entered into mankind.  BUT with one deliberate and selfless act of pure LOVE, the curse was broken. 

Romans 5:8  But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
 
But God had more to demonstrate to us of His love for all mankind.  Jesus rose from the grave and appeared to hundreds of people for 40 days, promising us that we too will be raised to glorious eternal life.

John 6:40  For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day.
