It is time for us to arise and stand for the the next generation. No matter what age, the next generation needs us to fast and intercede that they will not fear but trust in the power of His name and that the power of God will rest on them.
For the next 7 weeks we will be fasting every Wednesday for this generation.

Faith, Future and Finances
Isa 65:23 -24 And My elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands. They shall not labor in vain..
Scripture Reading
- Romans 12:3 ...God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.
- Isa 65:22-24 They shall not build and another inhabit; They shall not plant and another eat; For as the days of a tree, so shall be the days of My people, And My elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands. 23 They shall not labor in vain, Nor bring forth children for trouble; For they shall be the descendants of the blessed of the LORD, And their offspring with them. 24 "It shall come to pass That before they call, I will answer; And while they are still speaking, I will hear.
- Proverbs 10:4 He who has a slack hand becomes meaningless, But the hand of the diligent makes rich.
- Colossians 3:23 Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men,
- Proverbs 16:3 Commit your works to the LORD, And your thoughts will be established
- Matthew 6:21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Application
Many children struggle with lack of vision in their lives, they are not motivated to do anything and sometimes they don't seem to care. As they grow older they can struggle with their purpose and go from job to job, frustration to disappointment and doubt to despair. Often times they have trouble finding their faith in God and His Word. He is an unchanging, all-powerful, secure God in which they can believe in for themselves and their future.
It is important that each child has the faith in Him so they can hear the direction for their future and life's work. He will reveal to them what their life work is supposed to be and understand what they are to do with their lives. We know that not every job is fulfilling and purposeful but no matter how meaningless the job may seem, we can know that there is a sense of purpose if they are serving God.
Teaching our children to have faith in Him and to work diligently no matter the task will help them to not wander from job to job without purpose and they will always do their work for His glory. If they do this, God will provide all their needs and they will gain wealth, not only in their knowledge of Him but also in their finances. He says if we give, we will receive, if we seek His will.
Let us pray for their faith In God for their future, and for thier finances

Prayer
Dear Lord, we pray to you toady that You would multiply each measure of faith that you have given each child. That they will have a hope and a direction for their future, they will know the value of hard work and that they would dedicate their finances to You.
We pray for their future and that they will always find purpose in their job or position, to be diligent and never give in to laziness and always do things for Your glory. God you are an unchanging, all-powerful God and you desire each one to have the faith to believe in You and where You have them even when they can't see why they are where they are. Open the door of opportunity.
Pour Your Holy Spirit on them that will not grow weary, lose motivation or hope. They will "commit their works to You, so their thoughts will be established". We also pray that they will commit their finances to you. That the treasure in their heart will not be the money but the treasure will be You glory. Teach them that being diligent will make them rich in You.
Help them to "seek the kingdom of God", to surrender to You and to move in everything You have for them. That you will "establish the work of their hands" and they will "long enjoy the work of their hands and not labor in vain"

Application
As children, we are often asked, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" We had many ideas of what we wanted to be, a teacher, a fireman, a lawyer or even President of the United States. The world tells us if we work hard and put our mind to it, we can be anything we want, just follow our dreams. Society tries to define what success looks like and our success, or how much money we make will be the defining factor of how happy we are. The more successful, the more money you make, the happier you will be. Have you ever known someone who has "everything" and is still unhappy?
Today we can easily get caught up in the worlds standards and put those standards on our children. They will try to find purpose and meaning in the worldly success and miss God's voice and the purpose He has for them. Our children will have a choice to choose whatever weaknesses they want but God created each of them with a unique purpose and a perfect plan for their lives. He gives them special gifts and talents and He wants them to fulfill the purposes He gave them.
It is never too early or too late to plant the seeds in your child's mind that God has a perfect plan in their life. We can pray for God to reveal their gifts and talents. We should help them appreciate their strengths and not dwell on their weaknesses. We can encourage them to listen to God's voice and to lead a life His way because we know that His way brings clarity, acceptance, hope, wisdom and revelation.

Prayer
Lord, we lift up our young children who are just beginning to figure out who they are in God and our older children who are searching for purpose in their life. You know the thoughts You think towards them, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give them a future and a hope. Deliver them from the evil plan of the devil to rob them of life, to steal away their uniqueness and giftedness, to compromise the path You've called them to walk, or destroy the person You created them to be. Let them follow You and grow in their understanding of You, may their eyes be enlightened so they may see the hope of Your calling and the riches of Your glory.
Help us to not speak negatively but to encourage and plant seeds of God's perfect plan in their lives. May they find their identity, their success, their joy in You and not by the world's standards. Help our children to hear Your voice to give them a sense of direction and purpose.
We trust You to fulfill all the purposes and plans in our children even when they go astray or seem to have no purpose. We pray that they will find their sense of purpose and do whatever it takes to get where they need to be. When they find their purpose we pray that don't lose sight of it and that God will continue to help them define it and continue to take the right steps in the right direction. Let their relationship deepen in You, Lord as they understand their purpose in You and that the desires of their heart will be in Your will.

Freedom, Restoration and Wholeness
2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
Scripture Reading
- Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, beacuse He has annointed Me...to bring liberty to the captives.
- Exodus 20:6 but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
- Joel 2:25 "So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you

- Psalm 108:5-6 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, And Your glory above all the earth; That Your beloved may be delivered, Save with Your right hand, and hear me.
APPLICATION:
God wants us to live in freedom, restoration and wholeness. No matter how we are raised, whether it be imperfect or in the best of homes, God wants our children to find Christ for themselves, move in His freedom and become more like Him.
We must be in His presence, we must desire His presence, because that is where transformation happens. We need to pray that our children will have that same desire for the presence of the Holy Spirit so they can find freedom, deliverance, restoration, transformation and wholeness.

PRAYER:
Lord, we pray for our children this day. We pray that they will encounter You and find the freedom that comes from Your presence. That they would be set free from the slavery of sin and become slaves of righteousness (Romans 6:18). Free us and free them from anything that hinders the Holy Spirit. Let not the consequences of my sin be visited upon my children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Break those generational curses and show mercy to us for we love You and we want to keep Your commandments.
Restore all that the locusts have eaten. Redeem the time. Shine the light in the darkness so they can see clearly. Bring them new opportunities new life, new relationships new freedom in You. Take the broken pieces of their life and make them whole, make them beautiful. Let them see who you made them to be, wonderful and beautiful.
Separate them from anything that keep them from You. Lift them out of the pit of destruction, depression, anxiety, fear and hopelessness and transform them into Your image. Let them put on the garments of praise, humility, righteousness and faith.

Wisdom, Discernment and Revelation
James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
Scripture Reading
- Proverbs 9:10 “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
- Proverbs 29:20 Do you see a man hasty in his words? There is more hope for a fool than for him.
- Psalm 74:18 Remember this, that the enemy has reproached, O Lord, And that a foolish people has blasphemed Your name.
- Proverbs 11:2 When pride comes, then comes shame; But with the humble is wisdom.
- 1 Corinthians 1:20 Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the [a]disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
- 1 Corinthians 3:19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their own craftiness”;
- Proverbs 2:1-2, 5 My son, if you receive my words, And treasure my commands within you, 2 So that you incline your ear to wisdom, And apply your heart to understanding; 5 Then you will understand the fear of the Lord, And find the knowledge of God.
- Proverbs 22:17 Incline your ear and hear the words of the wise, And apply your heart to my knowledge;
APPLICATION:
Wisdom, discernment and revelation is one of the most important things we could pray for our children. Not wisdom of this world but wisdom, discernment and revelation that only come from God. Praying this for our children can help them make wise decisions in their life; what they should do, where they should go and how they should think. Not only should we pray this for our children but also ourselves. We want them to be able to make the right decisions and establish themselves in the Word. Whenever they are faced with challenging situations and decisions, we pray that the Word will come to them quickly and they would ask for wisdom, discernment and revelation because it says if they ask for it, He will give it to them.
PRAYER
Lord, we come before Your throne of grace and ask for wisdom, discernment and revelation for our children, that comes from Your Holy Spirit. You are the same today as You were yesterday, and as You are tomorrow. Since the beginning of mankind, You sought to have a relationship with Your creation, to instruct us in the way that we ought to go
Help our children to be anchored in Your Word that when temptation arises or situations occur, they will be strong and not fall in the ways of the foolish. They will rely on Your wisdom, discernment and revelation for the choices they make, to guide them from the dangers of worldly wisdom, to give them understanding of the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. Let them incline their ear and apply their heart to understanding.
Let our children understand God's divine purposes in their lives, to understand things by God's Spirit, and judge wisely. According to the book of Ephesians 1:16, that you give them the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the Knowledge of You, the eyes of their heart being enlightened that they may know the hope of Your calling and the riches of Your glorious inheritance in the saints and the immeasurable greatness of your power towards those who believe according to the working of your great might in Jesus name.
By the Spirit of God, we declare from this day forward that they will always know what to do at the right time, that no weapon fashioned against them shall prosper in the name of Jesus Christ, every evil friend in their life shall be exposed by the gift of discernment in them, their days of failure are over, their days of disappointments are over, their days of setbacks are over Jesus Christ name.
Thank You Lord for revelaing Yourself to us, for giving us vision and for opening up Your Word. In Jesus Name AMEN!

- James 4:8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
Application
In this challenging time, there is a lot of misinformation that is being thrown at our children. All this information can breed fear, stress, anxiety, frustration, depression or complacancy. They start to belive the lies of the enemy and question the truth of who they are and who Christ is.
Jesus has called each of our children to abide in who He is. If they abide in Him and His Word, the truth of His word shall make them free. Free of the lies, free of the complacancy, free of the anxiety, free of the depression. Not only does He promise to set them free but that they would bear much fruit! He wants them to draw near to Him and only get their inforamtion/ their truth, their identity, their comfort, their peace only from Him.
We must arise and stand against the lies of the enemy by proclaimig truth over our children.

We pray for those who do not know You or have walked away from You; those who are wandering around looking for truth in this world. You are the truth, the way and the life. You are the only one who can make them new. Let them have an encounter with the living God; a God who wants to draw near, who wants each of His children to return to Him with their whole heart.

You alone God will be glorified. You alone we lean on for understanding and truth. You alone can set them free.
You have given them an inheritance of Your Spirit. We pray that You continue to be the firm foundatuion. Amen!

2. and will raise up the age-old foundations;(B)
3. you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls,(C)
4. Restorer of Streets with Dwellings
Isaiah 58:12
King James Version
And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.
Says we will raise up the foundations meaning they are fallen.

Jeremiah 1:10 See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant. that they would be set over nations
Jeremiah 1:10 See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant. that they would be set over nations
Scripture Reading
Jeremiah 1:4-10 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying: "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations." Then said I: "Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth." But the LORD said to me: "Do not say, 'I am a youth,' For you shall go to all to whom I send you, And whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of their faces, For I am with you to deliver you," says the LORD. Then the LORD put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the LORD said to me: "Behold, I have put My words in your mouth. See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant."
Application
God knows each of our children intimately, He has formed each child in the womb and has ordered every day of their life. God has set our children apart for a particular purpose. They don't have to wait to walk in the calling that God has given them. Even as a youth, He has given them the power and authority, He has consecrated them, set them apart to be a voice in a world full of unrest. He has given them the authority to root out, to pull down, to destroy and throw down, to build and to plant.
Prayer
Thank you Lord for forming each child, unique and special, no child is hidden from You. You know the plans and purposes for them, You know them, set them apart and appointed them for such a time as this.
Open their ears to listen to Your voice when You speak. That they would be willing to obey what You command and trust Your promises. Give them the courage to speak truth with boldness, to stand on the side of justice, purity and judgement Let them not fear or think less of themselves because of their age. You will equip them and give them the words to speak and the power of Your truth. You watch over them diligently.
In a world that is fallen and broken, let the consecrated, appointed children rise up and pronounce judgment, "to pluck up and to break down, to destroy and to overthrow" and also proclaim you mercy and hope "to build and to plant". Thank you Lord for Your promises and for Your grace that is sufficient.
Let the children arise and respond to Your leading and guidance and say "Here I am- send me." In Jesus Name, Amen
