March 25, 2020 Father of Lights

James 1:17   Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.
 
We can all agree that the world we live in is dark, and most of the people are choosing to live in the darkness.  But there is hope- the Father of Lights!  He shared with us in prayer yesterday that He is sending His light all over the earth through His remnant.  We are that remnant.  We need to arise and shine the glory of God to those around us.

Isaiah 42:6-9  "I, the LORD, have called You in righteousness, And will hold Your hand; I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people, as a light to the nations,  (7)  To open blind eyes, To bring out prisoners from the prison, Those who sit in darkness from the prison house.  (8)  I am the LORD, that is My name; And My glory I will not give to another, Nor My praise to carved images.  (9)  Behold, the former things have come to pass, And new things I declare; Before they spring forth I tell you of them."
 
Let us all take the time today to ask the Lord how He wants us to be a light to the world.
