February 29, 2020 Are you Ready?

​Our 2nd fast starts tomorrow, and this is the question God is asking of us in this fast, “Are we ready to enter into His rest so we can go deeper in Him?”  
 
Here is a portion of a prophetic message the Lord gave us February 16, 2014, titled “Are You Ready?”
 
Are you ready, are you ready?
Would you go deeper?
It is not an easy question
I will not force you, I will not make you
You must have a will and a desire to say yes
And I will give you My very best
 
That is why you have entered into My rest
You will not be moved
In this next place I am about to take you
I am EQUIPPING and I am TRAINING you,
PREPARING you, for this next place
But you have to enter into My rest
And I will give you My very best
You must sit with Me and I will show thee
Enter into My rest
 
So are you ready, I will ask?
You are the chosen ones, the remnant
I will not force you to be with Me
But I will ask you the question
So you will see there is a response inside of Me.
 
This fast is a fast of discipline to strengthen us to not be moved by the distractions of this world, and to clearly hear the VOICE of God! Discipline is instruction to improve and correct our ways, so we can line up more closely with God and His ways.  He is inviting us into these fasts this year to equip, train, and prepare us to mold us more into His image. 
 
He is taking us into the DEEP end of the pool, and we have two choices as to how to react to the unsettledness of not having our feet on solid ground.  We can either tread water (stay and remain) or swim (exerting a lot of energy focusing on finding our own way back to where we were).  This fast is a time of treading water, of resting in God to listen for His voice of equipping, training, and preparation!
