February 5
(153) Consider my affliction and deliver me, For I do not forget Your law. (154) Plead my cause and redeem me; Revive me according to Your word. (155) Salvation is far from the wicked, For they do not seek Your statutes. (156) Great are Your tender mercies, O LORD; Revive me according to Your judgments. Febrero 5 Salmo 119:153-156 “Mira mi aflicción, y líbrame, Porque de tu ley no me he olvidado. Defiende mi causa, y redímeme; Vivifícame con tu palabra. Lejos está de los impíos la salvación, Porque no buscan tus estatutos. Muchas son tus misericordias, oh Jehová; Vivifícame conforme a tus juicios.”

Interested to see what comes from Vikki post of this letter. In my research the only definition was The Ancient picture for this letter is , the head of a man. This letter has the meanings of "head" and "man" as well as "chief," "top," "beginning" and "first," each of which are the "head" of something.

The Hebrew letter used in this passage of Psalm 119 is the RESH. It resembles outline of a side profile of the back of a human head. The word RESH actually means HEAD. It represents HUMAN REASONING. Human reasoning is when we direct thoughts and reasons to make a decision, but too often they are OUR thoughts and OUR reasons and OUR emotions. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells to NOT LEAN ON OUR OWN UNDERSTANDING – our OWN REASONING! But we are to Trust in the Lord and acknowledge His ways, and He will direct our path. We all know this verse, but how often do we reason in our minds and not consult God and His ways? Comments are closed.
