Saturday, Oct. 10th: Pray 2 Chronicles 6 over your State and Nation (Solomon’s Prayer)

Great is thy faithfulness or For our Father.  Father this morning, as we are praying for Nevada, we are reminded of Your faithfulness. Nevada is known to some as the entertainment capital of the world and to others as sin city. Nevada is the largest Gold producing state in the union and only second behind South Africa. Father, You set within this land wealth that men have tried to receive for years. Father, the true wealth is not in the deposits under the earth, but the deposits You have placed to walk on the earth. Father, let us be mindful as we have been given resources and that those resources are not our gods.

As we pray for Nevada, remind the leaders of this state the true riches are the people you place within the borders of any region. Let us not squander the true wealth and overlook the blessings that You have deposited in our nation. Father, as we pray together today, truly let the church take a role in the establishment of a nation that had You as its focus and not the riches that will not last through eternity.

We pray that You give the leaders a heart to unify and not gamble away our future generation. We pray godly offspring would rise up in this time of desperation and lead this state back to the heart of the Father. We pray the heart of the fathers would be returned to the children. In this time of testing we would remember that we were created to worship You.

We repent of our self determination to make our own gods of gold, as did the children of Israel, and not wait on You to give us the direction necessary to lead us from this wilderness. Father, we pray the spirit of unity upon your people that we may rise up and erect altars not to false gods of mamon but to a greater purpose of brotherly love to give us peace.

Teach us how to love one another and let revival again come to a people who have forgotten who they are. Father our identity is found in You and any other identity is a false one, that makes us imposters.  We pray that You unmask this nation and allow her to return to the identity that You purpose for her.  Let the dry bones arise from the floor of Death Valley and  hope settle, an altar of incense in Diamond Mountains, Nevada. Father let the fire never go out and let it burn hot in this place. In the name of Jesus, amen.
