Psalms 2:1-2 Why are the nations in an uproar(rage), and the peoples devising (plot) a vain (worthless) thing? The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers take counsel together Against the LORD and against His Anointed
Three weeks ago the Lord spoke to us about two beasts coming against America, who would come strong against the minds of men. (May 12, 2020- Two Beasts Coming to America) They would be coming to Washington DC first and then go to Philadelphia where they would claim what was promised to them by oaths and vows made by our forefathers in that land. There will be a great battle for the land of America, as these beasts come to further defile God’s people.
In the midst of the world fighting the corona virus, God told us a civil war was coming to America, with people on two distinct sides, strongly believing that what they believe is right!
But there is great hope in this prophecy – God says He will battle for what is His. He is calling His saints to arise and take a stand in this nation and nations all over the world in PRAYER! We have been chosen to cry out to God is Prayer. To make decrees that will break the covenants of darkness over our lands!
Here is an excerpt from this prophecy.
But you will not see the turn, until My people return
One that has been chosen to cry out for Me
One that is been chosen to stand and began to declare My decree
My decree is ancient, it is very ancient, you see
My decree overrides every broken covenant that has come from man, you see
God has chosen us to stand with Him. Are you willing? He will give us all the wisdom, knowledge, strength, and stability we need!
Isaiah 33:6-10 Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times, And the strength of salvation; The fear of the LORD is His treasure. Surely their valiant ones shall cry outside, The ambassadors of peace shall weep bitterly. The highways lie waste, the traveling man ceases. He has broken the covenant, He has despised the cities, He regards no man. The earth mourns and languishes… Now I will rise," says the LORD; "Now I will be exalted, Now I will lift Myself up.”
I was whining to the Lord this morning, and He quietly and profoundly spoke, “Things of value and purpose take much effort.” Don’t you just love the Lord, and how with just a few words He can quiet our minds so we can see more clearly the path He has for each day?
We all desire to have purpose in our lives – it is a huge cry of our hearts. That is usually one of the questions we ask ourselves when we start our search to have a relationship with Jesus. Then as we grow in our faith, it seems to be a recurring plea, “What is My purpose in the Kingdom of God?”
We also desire for the things we do to have value, especially to the Lord. Value means: worth, importance, productive, significance, to make a difference. We want the thing we spend our time on to be treasured by the Lord for eternity. I think of the verse in 1 Corinthians 3 about the materials we use to build things for the Lord. Are the things that we spend our time doing have value so that they will last the testings of life?
1 Corinthians 3:12-14 Now if any man builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each man's work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man's work. If any man's work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward.
I was reminded of Nehemiah when God put upon his heart to go to Jerusalem and lead the people to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. Great effort was needed to do this work, especially in the midst of great opposition and threats by persistent enemies.
Nehemiah 6:16 When all our enemies heard of it, and all the nations surrounding us saw it, they lost their confidence; for they recognized that this work had been accomplished with the help of our God.
We must always remember, God is the One who is partnering with us to accomplish His purposes for our lives and the Kingdom of God!
Isaiah 46:9-11 "Remember the former things long past, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me, Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things which have not been done, Saying, 'My purpose will be established, And I will accomplish all My good pleasure'; Calling a bird of prey from the east, The man of My purpose from a far country. Truly I have spoken; truly I will bring it to pass. I have planned it, surely I will do it.
Today was a glorious day as we celebrated Pentecost. It was a day filled with Prayer and Worship, and especially the reading of God’s Word. People of all ages and locations and languages worked together to read the Word of God non-stop for over 15 hours today. We read Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, Ruth, Song of Solomon, Mark, and Acts out loud from the altar and from our homes continuously.
I have talked to a few of the people who read, and they all said the same thing – it was an emotionally moving time. The Word came very alive and we often had tears in our eyes. We are definitely going to incorporate oral reading of God’s word in our quiet times! As we were pouring out Love and reverence and praise to the Lord, He was pouring His passionate heart out to us.
Below is an excerpt from a prophetic psalm from September 14, 2014 entitled My Beautiful Bride. In it the Lord’s heart is pounding over His love for His Bride – us! He can’t wait for her to be presented to Him. He is showing all the preparations going on in heaven for the wedding, as well as talking about her journey to be with Him.
I’m burning on the inside with a zeal and love for thee
Waiting for her to come to Me
Burning on the inside of Me is fire, full of jealousy
Don’t you walk away from Me
You belong to Me, you see, I love thee, I love thee
There is much movement, much movement
Heaven is going here and there and everywhere
I hear them say, Get ready, get ready for this great day
Prepare, prepare, get all things in place
Bring things to order, leave not a trace
Prepare, prepare I say, prepare, you see
I’m speaking to My bride, she’s getting ready for Me
Prepare, prepare, prepare, it is time that she comes close
I’ve chosen you, why do you think you’re here?
Why do you think I drew you near?
You, you walk with Me, and you talk with Me
You have been chosen by Me
You have a position in Me that I had chosen for thee
I made a promise to you and you made a vow to Me
Your love was strong for Me, and My love was strong for thee
And now we are One, you see
But My heart is pounding, and pounding and pounding for the love of My bride
I cannot hide My emotions from thee, I want someone to listen to Me
My heart is pounding and pounding and pounding, and pounding
I couldn’t wait
I know there’s an hour that is set, but My heart is burning, burning
Burning, burning for thee, inside of Me
You are sitting at My feet, and how it so pleased Me
That you have chosen Me to sit and wait
I shall come like a thief in the night, and I will stand and I will fight
Until all the Father’s children will come inside of His sight
And I will see My great bride
But you must watch until this very day comes
You must stand, you cannot run
It is a day that’s chosen for the both of Us, you see
I love thee, I make this plea, come to Me, come to Me
As we were pouring out our love for the Lord today, He was pouring out His Love even more.
Song of Solomon 8:5-7 "Who is this coming up from the wilderness leaning on her beloved?" "Beneath the apple tree I awakened you; There your mother was in labor with you, There she was in labor and gave you birth. "Put me like a seal over your heart, Like a seal on your arm. For love is as strong as death, Jealousy is as severe as Sheol; Its flashes are flashes of fire, The very flame of the LORD. "Many waters cannot quench love, Nor will rivers overflow it; If a man were to give all the riches of his house for love, It would be utterly despised."
After our main Morning Prayer time, Cheryl and I set aside some time to pray for families that are going through difficult times in their marriages. We prayed for the adults and then the children. God burst through our prayers and prayed for the children with great excitement. He spoke that this Pentecost was very special. He was going to send His Spirit out to the children, the next generation, in a very special and powerful way. This Pentecost would be different as it will usher in the end time prophecy in the Book of Joel.
Joel 2:28 It will come about after this that I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind; and your sons and daughters will prophesy, Your old men will dream dreams, Your young men will see visions.
Please clear your day tomorrow and pray with a renewed heart for the next generation! Pray for them as they receive power and anointing’s in Prayer, in the Word of God, in Worship, in Prophecy, in Dreams, in Evangelism… This is God’s heart and we were born to pray to usher in this great move of God.
Three times a year it is very important to God for all His people to celebrate, to stop and reflect on who He is and what He has done for us!
Deuteronomy 16:16 Three times in a year all your males shall appear before the LORD your God in the place which He chooses, at the Feast of Unleavened Bread (Passover) and at the Feast of Weeks Pentecost) and at the Feast of Booths (Fall Feasts), and they shall not appear before the LORD empty-handed.
We celebrated Passover earlier in the spring, and now fifty days later, we are celebrating Pentecost. The Lord told His people to count seven weeks plus one Sabbath after Passover to celebrate Pentecost. (Leviticus 23:15-16)
Moses took God’s people out of Egypt on Passover, and 50 days later they were at the base of Mt. Sinai listening to God share His heart for His people. He thundered from the mountain giving Israel the Ten Commandments, so He could bless them in their obedience.
Exodus 20:18-20 All the people perceived the thunder and the lightning flashes and the sound of the trumpet and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it, they trembled and stood at a distance. Then they said to Moses, "Speak to us yourself and we will listen; but let not God speak to us, or we will die." Moses said to the people, "Do not be afraid; for God has come in order to test you, and in order that the fear of Him may remain with you, so that you may not sin."
This is the feast that Moses kept telling Pharaoh that God wanted His people to celebrate in the wilderness with Him.
Exodus 5:1 And afterward Moses and Aaron came and said to Pharaoh, "Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, 'Let My people go that they may celebrate a feast to Me in the wilderness.'"
This feast was fulfilled the Holy Spirit was and is given to all believers. After Jesus’ resurrection, He walked among His followers for 40 days giving them instructions. Right before Jesus left His disciples to ascend into heaven to be with Father God, He instructed His followers to wait in Jerusalem for the promised gift from the Father. Ten days later, on the day of the feast of Pentecost, as the Christ’s followers were gathered to pray, the Holy Spirit descended upon them in great power and signs.
Acts 2: 1-4 “When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a noise like a violent rushing wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. And there appeared to them tongues as of fire distributing themselves, and they rested on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit was giving them utterance.”
Much like Moses’ experience on Mt. Sinai, there was a roaring sound as tongues of fire fell on each of Jesus’ disciples. The Holy Spirit was writing His law on their hearts, instead of on the stone tablets of the Ten Commandments. As they received great gifts and power from the Holy Spirit this small group went out and made thousands of disciples all over Israel and even to the ends of the earth, spreading the good news of the Gospel of Christ.
Today, Israel celebrates this day as a day of great joy and rejoicing. They adorn their homes with flowers and greenery, and wear colorful costumes. They invite guests and strangers to celebrate with dancing and feasting.
For Christians today, this is a good time to reawaken and strengthen our personal relationship with God by rededicating ourselves to the study of His Word; and yielding more to the guiding of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
We are celebrating Pentecost this Friday from 6:00 AM- 9:00 PM. We will be reading through many books of the Bible all throughout the day, as well as praying and worshiping our Amazing God! If you would like to participate with us, please contact Pastor Bertha.
Pastors and all Church leaders have a great responsibility to shepherd their flocks. It has always been a difficult task, because their congregations are made up of people, and the Bible often refers to us as sheep who need a shepherd! If we do not have a good shepherd, and if we do not follow our leaders, we will go astray.
This is a time when good and wise shepherd are needed in our churches. There is much division in our leaders and in our congregations if we should we should remain in our homes or assemble together. God is the only One who knows what is going on with the virus, because He is the one who sent this judgment, and He is the One who will bring it to an end. There are very valid reasons for both sides – the leaders want to shepherd their flocks and encourage them in the Lord as they did before, but how can they do that in a safe and respectful manner?
God told us a few weeks ago a civil war was coming to the church, and I believe it is here now. Pastors are pressured on one side to continue gathering online, and on the other side to open up all ministries in their church. The two sides are very divided and sometimes critical of the other’s opinion. We must understand that only God knows what the truth is. We need to be more understanding of those who have differing opinions of this matter. We are the body of Christ, and we must KNOW that the enemy is using this virus and the mercurial nature of our governments to bring about a civil war in the church.
But we are not left to be victims of this war, but instead we must be diligent and humble to PRAY what is on God’s heart in this season of judgment. And today the Lord is asking us to pray for our Pastors and Elders.
Jeremiah 33:3 Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.
What do we need to do? First of all we must pray for our leaders to hear clearly from the Lord:
God will answer our pure prayers for our churches.
Zechariah 10:6 I will strengthen the house of Judah, And I will save the house of Joseph, And I will bring them back, Because I have had compassion on them; And they will be as though I had not rejected them, For I am the LORD their God and I will answer them.
God makes many promises in Zechariah 10 to His people who call out to Him. Just in this one passage the Lord says He will:
Zechariah 10:12 And I will strengthen them in the LORD, and in His name they will walk," declares the LORD.
As we are praying for a great awakening and renewal of the hearts of our Pastors, and let’s also pray for an atmosphere of respect and obedience to fill the hearts of all who believe in the Lord!
I have noticed in the last 2-1/2 months I have gained some weight, and so have most of the people I know. This showed me that I have been more affected by the virus and the resulting shutdown more than I thought. I have been enjoying the slower pace, not rushing from one thing to the next all the time. So obviously I have turned to food for comfort. I did not dive back into chocolate or other “forbidden to me” goodies, but I did compromise in little things here and there, to satisfy my flesh.
As we grow in our faith putting to death the things of our flesh, we tend to think we have arrived in some areas. But since we live in our flesh, it is hard to totally do that until we receive our glorified bodies. The Word tells us over and over that we MUST strive to put the desires of our flesh to death every moment of every day!
1 Corinthians 9:25-27 Everyone who competes in the games exercises self-control in all things. They then do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. Therefore I run in such a way, as not without aim; I box in such a way, as not beating the air; but I discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified.
We must truly know and understand that our flesh is contending with God’s purposes! Contending means to come against, to struggle against in opposition, to dispute earnestly, to fight, competing, opposing, and challenging.
1 Samuel 2:10 Those who contend with the LORD will be shattered; Against them He will thunder in the heavens, The LORD will judge the ends of the earth; And He will give strength to His king, And will exalt the horn of His anointed.
We all know God is sovereign and contending with Him is futile, so why do we keep falling for the tricks and whining of our flesh?
Jude 1:3 Beloved, while I was making every effort to write you about our common salvation, I felt the necessity to write to you appealing that you contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all handed down to the saints.
The Greek word for contend used in Jude means to exert intense effort. Let’s turn things around and partner with the Holy Spirit to exert intense effort against the purposes of our flesh!
Luke 13: 24 Strive to enter through the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able.
As we continue up the mountain to get closer to the Lord, the path gets steeper and narrower. We cannot afford to have the desires of our flesh hindering us and stopping us from going further!
2 Timothy 4:7-8 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.
Grace is given to thee that you may see the powers of heaven come upon you
Did I not say that grace would be upon you?
Did I not pray for such grace that you may see My face?
Grace I give you, grace I gave you, grace I give you
Grace, I put in your hands, grace, with a great demand
Would you not receive, do you not believe?
Grace I give you, boldly
Why have I given you this grace? Boldly you shall come and seek My face
Boldly, come to the throne room of grace, grace I give you
Do you not know My daughter, I give grace all the time, but they do not receive
They will take a dime, but they will not receive My grace
I give to thee so boldly and freely, the grace is here to draw you near
(Excerpt from Hear My Heart’s Cry, Power of Heaven – February 5, 2017)
Grace is an amazing gift God gives to all believers. Grace is unmerited favor. God gives us grace to come before Him and to make our pleas. He gives us grace to know that He is listening and answering them. He gives us grace to hear His voice, and understand His words. He gives us grace to boldly and confidently come to His Throne Room. He gives us grace to forgive our sins and iniquities, and set us free from their hold on our flesh. And His grace does so much more for us. As God said above, His grace is bold and free, but will we choose to receive it?
Paul was a man who understood grace very well. He was a very learned student of the Word of God, but He got it all wrong. He rejected Jesus and persecuted everyone who claimed to believe in Jesus as their Messiah. But then through the grace of God, He met Jesus and his whole mind, heart, and life changed. Of the 131 times that word grace was used in the entire Bible, He used it in his writings 100 times. He understood grace, and was so grateful for Jesus taking even his sins and transforming him. He knew that was only by His grace!
Ephesians 2:8-10 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.
Grace is something that is available to all believers, but it will look differently among us because of the different gifts we all are given. We must be careful to be good stewards of the Grace and Gifts He has given us for His purposes, and not desire what others have been given. This will only lead to envy, jealousy, insecurity… Not a path we should be going down.
Romans 12:3-6 For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith. For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to exercise them accordingly…
As important as grace was to Paul and to all believers, it is even more so to God. His love for us is greater than we will ever be able to comprehend, and it is because of God’s grace to send His Son to die for our sins, and His Holy Spirit leading us, that we can come near to Him and fellowship with Him. This is the desire of God’s heart. To make this clear to us, He ends the Bible with these words:
Revelation 22:21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen.
👑Daughter, O Daughter, wed yourself to My Certainty this day! This is your position to sit before My Certainty so that you may then stand in the Gap as priest! This Place of Certainty, stops and smells the roses 🌹. It encounters the freshness of the dew with wonder. It lingers at the well until saturated with Certainty! O Blessed one, nothing can separate you when you drink from THIS Cup! No nothing, not a thought, doubt, distraction, circumstance, pain, suffering, or shaking can move you when you are sitting at the feet of Certainty! Nothing can snatch you from the powerful hand of the Shepherd and His relationship with Me!! This is the ONENESS I desire! “This one thing is needed...”
John 10:27-30 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.
My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. I and the Father are One!
👑So Beloved, I am asking you to position yourself this day in the Garden of CERTAINTY and pray; My Faith, Hope, and Love abound here in this Secret Place and I in turn will visit your land with My Cup! Yes, yes, yes, this Cup is seamless with Certainty! Do not look to the right or left because that is where doubt, fear, and hopelessness abide. Certainty tabernacles in the Dove’s eyes! Certainty never waivers or is tossed to and fro, but grows with much fragrance for others to glean from!
👑Daughter, I have chosen you for battle, yes, but your Valiant comes as you abide in Certainty! Exceeding and abundant transpire when you intercede from this Cup and nothing will be able to move you! Sit at My feet, you have chosen well this day, ONE thing is needed, and it cannot be taken from you.
Luke 10:41-42 But the Lord answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and bothered about so many things; but only one thing is necessary, for Mary has chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her."
Philippians 1:6 “I am CERTAIN that God who began this good work within you, will continue His work until it is finally finished on the day Christ Jesus returns.”
All week, God has been speaking to us to:
And this is not just with our mouths, but with our minds. Yesterday in prayer, The Lord asked us to come before Him in silence. You never know how much noise and how many voices are inside of our heads until we try to be silent. As we purposed to be silent the struggle ensued in each of us. As I kept casting down those thoughts, I was becoming more frustrated with myself. Why can’t you stay focused? Why is this so hard?
This was still on my mind this morning, until the Lord told me He wanted me to see my unruly thoughts, and the way they take my mind off of Him. When our minds have a hard time being still, they hinder us from receiving all the messages He desires to speak to us. Out of God’s incredible patience and love, He said He was not moved by my wayward thoughts, and He is patient and will wait for me. He told me I need to keep pulling the reins back on my wandering mind, much like a jockey on a runaway horse. That imagery stuck with me and really helped me see my mind can be tamed, and even more so than a horse.
As I have been pondering what the Lord said, I realized my mind is not steadfast, not set completely upon Him. Immediately I thought of this verse:
Isaiah 26:3 The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace, because he trusts in You.
Steadfast means to be steady, not wavering, not fickle, firmly fixed in place, not subject to change, firm in belief and loyalty, constant, devoted. The opposite of this is fickle, inconsistent, or unfaithful. When I read the verse above, I can see why some days I do not have peace, while others I seem to have more. Once I was challenged, I realized that even though I am disciplined in some areas, I am lacking internal discipline in my mind!
I believe the reason God is challenging His remnant in this is because He is calling us to sit at His feet in order to hear the cries of His heart and the instructions He has for us. In order to do this we must not be distracted in our minds. This takes pure inner rest (absolute trust) in who God is.
God told us, “This is a holy week, a sacred week”. Passover is on May 29, and the Lord is asking us to consecrate ourselves in the days before it by training our minds to be more focused upon Him. This purposed seeking of God will be preparation for what He will speak and do during Pentecost. He is equipping us with holy power for this holy time. He desires to reveal things to us that we have never seen before. I urge you to take this week leading up to Pentecost as sacred - dedicated and set apart, devoted to God for His purposes,
I pray that we will all be filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. May we all will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, pleasing Him in all respects- everything we think, say, and do. May we bear fruit in every good work we do, and at the same time grow in our knowledge of God. May Almighty God strengthen us with all power, according to His glorious might, so we will attain and abound in steadfastness and patience. May all of these things come to pass as we joyously give thanks to our Heavenly Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light. (Colossians 1:9-12)
May we all be blessed during this time of consecration and preparation!
