Tuesday, Oct. 6th: Pray for businesses Proverbs 16:3

​Good morning Father. Today we want to began thanking you for having a place to lay our head and food on our tables, shoes on our feet and friends we can love and depend on.  The state we lift before You will be Mississippi. Father we pray to settle this land that carries the same name as a mighty river. Let the leaders flow as one in compassion for unity of our nation like that great river. Let the church leaders and congregations surrender to Your will and to repent of our wrong thoughts . To humble themselves for a dedication to a greater purpose. Remove selfish thoughts from within our hearts and malice and prejudice from our minds. Let the world witness what You intended for this great state from the beginning. As the Mississippi River moves from the north of America to the south, bringing a freshness and minerals to deposit, so let there be a movement in the nation to flow as one, supplying others with what is needed. Let this state be a melting pot of ideas to motivate a new generation in the promises of God. Guide the senate, the federal judges and the city officials to walk in one accord to bring justice for all.  Father we realize how short sighted we have become and know You desire more for us. We have traveled in this wilderness long enough now; allow us to arise and be strong in the Lord. Let us arise to a hope and a future. Let us arise to a destiny set before the foundation of the earth. Let us arise to hope that presents itself every day, all we have to do is recognize that it is there. Let us arise to a greater generation of people that have vision hope and wisdom to enter into the promises of God. LET US ARISE to a great nation called the United States that will help others arise to a knowledge of our Lord and Savior. Father we seal this prayer believing it will happen in the name of Jesus..amen
