Thursday, Oct. 1st: Pray for the students Psalm 24:6-8
Good morning our Lord and Savior. Thank You for the peace in our nation as we slept through the night. As we pray for Maine today, let us remember the words "And the rockets red glare and bombs bursting in air, gave proof through the night our flag was still there." Father thank You our nation still has hope and the hand of God, through significant opposition, still is here. We raise a banner of love (our flag) over Maine and the representatives there. The banner of love over the Governors mansion and the same banner over the judges and city officials. I pray that your church will not overlook the banner You have given us love and that we care more about the banner of stars and stripes. For without the first, the second will surely fail. We come requesting love in the heart of a nation that has grown cold. Let your Spirit so make himself known that truly love would be in the air. Father help us to focus on that which is important. We pray for families in this state and this nation. The nation that once was undoubtedly the greatest superpower can once again be covered by The Greatest Superpower in all things. The importance of families as You have determined, a patriarchal group with roots of significant promises from you. Father again forgive us as we have sinned against You and through your love for us the blood of Jesus still flows and covers us each and every day. Father we love You and thank You for all you do. Thank you for allowing us to sound an alarm in this nation. In Jesus name we pray... Amen
