Saturday, Sept. 19th: That God’s people will stand boldly for Christ’s Righteousness and Truth Psalm 92:12
Good morning Father. We pray today for calmness and peace for our nation we are at a turning point in so many things. We know that there is unrest in the Nation that only you can bring back the peace. First, we pray we will not be divided, as yesterday the Supreme Court lost one of its soldiers. We pray that the judicial system remains stable and there can be a unified front for all. We pray for Justice Ginsberg transitions from this life to the next. Our focus this morning is for Connecticut. This is a state called the Land of Constitution. Let Connecticut live up to her name and again take a lead as it did during the formation of the states. Let her leaders have insight to lead us into a true democracy that was established during the colonial period. I pray for the churches as again it was religious leaders with moral values that helped to establish her first as a state and then one of the original thirteen colonies. The church leaders would come together and cry out before you and lead those in the state to a point of repentance. Thank you ahead of time for what you are doing in our midst and let our focus remain on praying for the United States as one nation under God…. with Liberty and Justice for all. In the name of Jesus we offer up these requests.
